Districts of the Batch

Different the Sub-prefecture S from the Batch.

The 3 Arrondissement S current have like Chef-lieu: Cahors , Figeac, Gourdon.

• District of Gourdon

History

• 1790 : creation of the department of the Batch with 6 districts: Cahors, Figeac, Gourdon, Lauzerte, Martel, Montauban
• 1790: the district of Martel becomes that of Saint-Céré
• 1800: creation of the districts: Cahors, Figeac, Gourdon, Montauban.
• 1808 : suppression of the District of Montauban (detached for the creation of the Department of Tarn-et-Garonne)

Lauzerte is a commune of Tarn-et-Garonne since 1808
