- District of Castellane;

History

1790 : creation of the department of the Low-Alps with 5 districts: Barcelonnette, Castellane, Worthy, Forcalquier, Sisteron
- 1800: creation of the districts: Worthy, Barcelonnette, Castellane, Forcalquier, Sisteron
- 1926: removal of the districts of Castellane and Sisteron
- 1942: restoration of the district of Castellane
In 1970, the Low-Alps become Alp-of-High-Provence.
