District of Romorantin-Lanthenay

The district of Romorantin-Lanthenay is a French administrative division , located in the department of Loir-et-Cher and the area Center.

Composition

The administrative cutting of the district was modified, on January 1st, 2007, by the addition of the communes of the Canton of Saint-Aignan, attached before to the Arrondissement of Blois.

• Canton of Lamotte-Beuvron, which groups 7 communes:

• Chaon, Chaumont-on-Tharonne, Lamotte-Beuvron, Nouan-le-Fuzelier, the Souvigny-in-Sologne, Vouzon and Yvoy-the-Chestnut.

• Canton of Mennetou-on-Expensive, which groups 8 communes:

• the Vault-Montmartin, Châtres-on-Expensive, Langon, Maray, Mennetou-on-Expensive, Saint-Julien-on-Expensive, Saint-Wolf and Villefranche-on-Expensive.

• Canton of Neung-on-Beuvron, which groups 8 communes:

• Dhuizon, Ferté-Beauharnais, Ferté-Saint-Cyr, the Marolle-in-Sologne, the Montrieux-in-Sologne, Neung-on-Beuvron, Thoury and Villeny.

• Canton of Romorantin-Lanthenay-North, which groups 5 communes:

• Courmemin, Millançay, Romorantin-Lanthenay (fraction of commune), Veilleins and the Vernou-in-Sologne.

• Canton of Romorantin-Lanthenay-South, which groups 4 communes:

• Loreux, the Plum tree-in-Sologne, Romorantin-Lanthenay (fraction of commune) and Villeherviers.

• Canton of Saint-Aignan, who groups 15 communes:

• Châteauvieux, Châtillon-sur-Cher, Chémery, Choussy, Couddes, Couffy, Mareuil-on-Expensive, Méhers, Meusnes, Walnut tree-on-Expensive, Pouillé, Saint-Aignan, Saint-Romain-on-Expensive, Seigy and Thésée.

• Canton of Salbris, which groups 9 communes:

• Ferté-Imbault, Marcilly-in-Gault, Orçay, Pierrefitte-on-Sauldre, Saint-Viâtre, Salbris, Saddle-Saint-Denis, Souesmes and Theillay.

• Canton of Selles-sur-Cher, which groups 8 communes:

• Billy, Gièvres, the Gy-in-Sologne, Lassay-on-Croisne, the Wall-of-Sologne, Rougeou, Selles-sur-Cher and the Soings-in-Sologne.
