Noailles is a district of the 1 {{er}} district of Marseilles located close to the Canebière.

Toponymy

This district owes its name with the private mansion sumptuous, which gave its name besides to part of Canebière which was called a time “street Noailles” and which was reconverted in police headquarters.

However, Noailles comes from a Gallic word become as former French valley , noë (meadow wet, bordering a river), and it proves that the Lacydon ran where Canebière is located.
