District of Montbrison

The district of Montbrison is a French administrative division , located in the department of the the Loire and the area the Rhone-Alps.

The district of Montbrison did not undergo modification since its creation in year VIII (1800), apart from creation, at a nonknown date, after 1882, of the Canton of Chazelles-on-Lyon (included before in the Canton of Saint-Galmier).
