The district of Castle-Chinon (City) , or often simply district of Castle-Chinon , is a French administrative division , located in the department of the Nievre and the area Burgundy.
Precision: the official nomenclature (INSEE) uses the curious C-W communication, without space in the name, in accordance with the official name of the chief town city of district. Apart from this official use, this C-W communication is respected little, while, in the language running, is used the expression district of Castle-Chinon , without the term “(City)” also often omitted for the name of common the chief town of district, but nonnecessary to the names of the district or the canton.
