District of Briey
The district of Briey is a French administrative division , located in the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle and the area Lorraine.
Composition
This district, old ground barroise, formed initially part of the department of the the Moselle (1790). In 1871, not having been annexed by new the German Empire, it was attached to the department of the Meurthe which became the Département of Meurthe-et-Moselle.
