District of Blois

The district of Blois is a French administrative division , located in the department of Loir-et-Cher and the area Center.

Composition

The administrative cutting of the district was modified, on January 1st, 2007, by the withdrawal of the communes of the Canton of Saint-Aignan, up to that point attached to the district of Blois, and attached to this date with the Arrondissement of Romorantin-Lanthenay.

Canton of Counter, which groups 17 communes:

Candé-on-Beuvron, Cheverny, Chitenay, Counter, Cormeray, Court-Cheverny, Feings, Fern-on-Beaver, Fresnes, Monthou-on-Beaver, Montils, Oisly, Ouchamps, Sambin, Sassay, Seur and Valaire.

Canton of Herbault, which groups 21 communes:

Averdon, Chambon-on-Cisse, Champigny-in-Beauce, the Vault-Vendômoise, Chouzy-on-Cisse, Coulanges, Françay, Herbault, Lancôme, Moor-the-Gallic, Mesland, Molineuf, Monteaux, Onzain, Orchaise, Saint-Cyr-of-Gault the, Saint-Etienne-of-Guérets the, Santenay, Seillac, Widowed and Villefrancœur.

Canton of Marchenoir, which groups 18 communes:

Autainville, Beauvilliers, Bushel, Briou, Conan, Concriers, Josnes, Lorges, the Madeleine-Villefrouin, Marchenoir, Oucques, Plessis-l' Scale, Rocks, Saint-Laurent-of-Wood, Saint-Léonard-in-Beauce, Séris, Talcy and Villeneuve-Frouville.

Canton of Sea, which groups 11 communes:

Avaray, the Vault-Saint-Martin-in-Plain, the Court-on-Loire, Courbouzon, Lestiou, Maves, Menars, Sea, Mulsans, Suèvres and Villexanton.

Canton of Vineuil, which groups 3 communes:

Montlivault, Saint-Claude-with-Diray and Vineuil.
