The district of Ambert is a French administrative division , located in the department of the Puy-de-Dôme and the area Auvergne.

Composition

Removed between 1926 and 1942, the district found, since 1942, the composition which had been his of 1800 (year VIII) to 1926.
  • 3 communes except district are adherent with the SIVOM of Ambert: Domaize, Ceilloux and Turn-on-Meymont.

To check that the 8 cantons all had been attached to the Arrondissement of Thiers or if they “had been ventilated” between several districts.
