District council (Swiss)
See also: District council
The district council (Italian: consiglio regional ) is the name given to the elected assembly of certain common Swiss. It must come to a conclusion about the budget and the modifications of the communal payments suggested by the Town council, which is the executive of the commune. Only the communes of a certain size have a district council. In the little populated communes, this role is allocated directly to the primary assembly of the citizens.
