Distributive Justice
1. According to Aristote: it is the first species of the particular justice which is exerted in the distribution of the honors or the richness or other advantages which can be distributed between the members of a political community.
Contrary to the commutative Justice which establishes an arithmetic equality, distributive justice establishes a geometrical equality. She preaches the distribution according to the merit, making case of the inequalities between the people. With the unequal people, of the unequal shares .
The rights, obligations, loads and advantages, are distributed in the respect of criteria which vary according to the Idéologie of the ancient time. With each one its row, its merits, its needs and its actions.
2. It is according to this principle of distributive justice that the Greek governments in the Antiquité were formed.
3. Today, distributive justice is synonymous with Social justice. Thus, the purpose of it is to reduce the unjust inequalities and to increase the “right” inequalities, according to the vision of Aristote of the Justice.
4. In other words, distributive justice is the distribution of community properties according to the merits of each one.
