Distributed.net is a project of Calcul distributed created in April 1997 by Jeff Lawson.
Dnetc
Dnetc is the name of the software customers. It recovers on a waiter of the keys, the draft, then sends them on the waiter. It is available in binary format for the following architectures/OS (nonexhaustive list):

- RSA Lab' S 56-bit RC5 Encryption Challenge: Finished the October 19th 1997 (after 250 days and 47% of the keys tested)
- RSA Lab' S 56-bit OF II-1 Encryption Challenge: Finished the February 24th 1998 (after 39 days)
- RSA Lab' S 56-bit OF II-2 Encryption Challenge: Finished the July 17th 1998 (key found by EFF' S Deep Ace custom OF the cracké after 2,5 days)
- RSA Lab' S 56-bit OF the - III Encryption Challenge: Finished the January 19th 1999 (after 22,5 hours with the assistance of EFF' S Deep Ace custom OF the cracker)
- Cs-Cipher Challenge (CSC): Finished the January 16th 2000 (after 60 days and 98% of the keys tested)
- RSA Lab' S 64-bit RC5 Encryption Challenge (RC5-64): Finished the July 14th 2002 (after 1757 days and 83% of the keys tested)
- Rules of optimal Golomb (OGR-24): Finished the October 13rd 2004
