Dissatisfaction

State of frustration (lived emotional related to the fact that the desire is not carried out) or of disappointment (in this case the desire is carried out but satisfaction obtained is not with the height of discounted satisfaction) related to the life cycle of the Désir (of the Besoin, of the Attente).

Waiting of Plaisir is a desire which can give place to frustration (typically when the thing necessary to the pleasure is absent) or to disappointment (when the pleasure actually obtained is in lower part of the discounted pleasure).

Opposite: satisfaction

Buddhism and dissatisfaction

According to Buddhism, the desire as a greed is dukkha, i.e. dissatisfaction . To release itself from the Suffering, it is thus necessary to be released from the Désir. That does not want to say in so far as it is necessary to be frustrated. It sometimes as follows is said: repression is not the way, the transformation is the way .
