Disneyland Paris

The Park Disneyland or Disneyland Park is a park with topics of the Walt Disney Company located in France, in Seine-et-Marne with Marne-the-Valley, which opened its doors the April 12th 1992. It belongs to the complex of leisures Disneyland Resort Paris in the past Euro Disney Resort .

The park with topics was initially called Euro Disneyland until in 1994 then Disneyland Paris until in 2002 where it acquired its current name of Parc Disneyland . These successive changes of name symbolize also the difficulty of the park of finding its identity and its frequentation. The park does not belong directly to the Walt Disney Company but to Euro Disney Associés SNC held by Euro Disney SCA.

The name Disneyland Paris , used by the majority of the fans, remains however most explicit to differentiate it from the others magic Royaumes of Disney.

It is about the second tourist site more visited in France, after Notre-Dame de Paris, with 12,2 million visitors per annum.

The park with topic

Hand Street the USA

Located behind the station of the Disneyland Paris Railroad, it is the main street of the park with shops and restaurants. The visitor arrives on the place of Town Square . On the way of the manor is the landing stage of Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing from which one can sail on the river on board one of the two paddle steamers, Molly Brown or Mark Twain . Further at the edge of the river a small cemetery with the foot of Phantom Manor offers a splendid sight on the mountain of Big Thunder Mountain but also on a rock unit inspired of sulphuric concretions surrounding the geysers as to Yellowstone. On an island in the middle of the river rises the Big Thunder Mountain appearing the mine of Thunder Mesa.
