Disney Online

Disney Online or Disney.com is the subsidiary company of the Walt Disney Company publishing the sites Internet of the company. It is managed by the Walt Disney Internet Group.

The company was created in 1995 to manage and publish contents on Internet. The Disney.com site was launched the February 22nd 1996. The site is conceived like an interactive version of a park with topics leading to the various activities of the group.

The company after several acquisitions and creations launches in 1999 a site gate for the whole of its subsidiary companies: Go.com . However the gate did not function but the edition of contents remained a strong point of the company which renamed the August 2nd 2000 all its division Internet Walt Disney Internet Group, Disney Online becoming a subsidiary company for the Disney marks.

The June 28th 2005, a podcast Disney Online is launched on ITunes following a contract between Disney and Apple

The November 30th 2005, Disney Online launches the download location of play Disney' S Game Coffee
