Disney-ABC Domestic Television
Disney-ABC Domestic Television is a subsidiary company of the Walt Disney Company for the Syndication of the television programs produced by the various subsidiary companies of Disney. She was created in 1985 under the cut of Buena Vista Distribution under the name Buena Vista Television ( BVTV ). Since 2004 it is attached to the Disney-ABC Television Group.
It ensures the distribution of the own-produced emissions, of the productions (emissions and telefilms) of ABC since the creation of the chain. It ensures also the diffusion of films of Walt Disney Pictures, Caravan Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures, Miramax Films and Dimension Films. But it does not manage the productions of Walt Disney Television or ESPN.
Its subsidiary company International Disney-ABC Television (ex Buena Vista International Television) manages contracts of diffusion of the programs of the various subsidiary companies of Disney on 1300 chains of 240 countries.
History
Buena Vista Television was created in 1985 under the cut of Buena Vista Distribution.
It was attached in 1996 to ABC but diffuse of the emissions under its own name to the Canada. Buena Vista Television became the second (then in 1999 only) body of syndication of ABC. The first was WorldVision while the films was produced by ABC Circle Films.
In 2004 it is attached to the Disney-ABC Television Group.
The May 28th 2007, this subsidiary company was famous Disney-ABC Domestic Television .
