Disease of the yellow Dragon

The disease of the yellow Dragon , or Huanglongbing (HLB) in Chinese, is a disease Bactérie nne which destroys the fruit trees quickly of Agrume S.

In 1994, the researchers of INRA of Bordeaux identified the two bacterial species responsible for the disease in Asia and Africa: Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus and Candidatus Liberibacter africanus.

These bacteria are propagated thanks to two Insecte S stitcher-nozzles close to the Puceron S and pledged with citrus fruits: the African Psylle and the Asian psylle, Diaphorina citri.

The primary symptoms of the disease were observed in 2004 in orchards of Agrume S with the Brésil.
