Discovered of Chile

The discovered Chile is the historical period which starts on arrival of Spanish on the grounds of current Chile. Forwardings of Diego de Almagro in 1536, and those of Pedro de Valdivia in 1541, period which makes begin the Conquête

Forwarding of Almagro

In 1536, Diego de Almagro, in load of 500 Spanish and thousands of Amerindians to his service, and with the authorization of Charles V, starts since Cuzco, its forwarding towards the grounds of the south. It is necessary as to add as Fernand of Magellan explored the coasts of current the Magellan Strait and it is thought that it explored the grounds of the south of the Chile.
