Direct Internet Encapsulation Message
DIME is a standard Internet proposed by Microsoft to transfer from the binary data or other types of data encapsulated through the protocol SOAP. According to the site of IETF, this standard was withdrawn and obtained statute RFC forever. It is however integrated into the Web Services Enhancements distributed by Microsoft. This standard is supposed to be a version reduced of MIME.
