The diploma of thorough studies ( D.É.A. or DEA ) was a national diploma of the higher education French of third cycle created in 1964. It was prepared in one year of studies after the control. It constitutes a preparation with the Thèse of doctorate. On the other hand, the OF the, has a professional purpose directly. These diplomas also exist with a little difference in other countries according to the French model of university education like the Suisse, the Belgium, the Quebec, the Lebanon, the Tunisia and Algerie, etc the DÉA and OF was the equivalents to the Master Anglo-Saxon university systems.
