In France, the Diplôme of general academic works economic and social Administration is the first university degree (bac+2) in the legal studies.

History

Between 1993 and 1997, the program is fixed by the decree of February 19th, 1993.

From 1997, and until the application of the Reform LMD, the program is fixed by arrété of April 30th, 1997.

Currently, DEUG AES is the intermediate diploma of a License of economic and social administration.
