Dionysius Lardner

Dionysius Lardner is a physicist Irish, born the April 3rd 1793 with Dublin and dead the April 29th 1859 with Naples.

He Marie with Cecilia Flood in 1815 and divorces in 1849. It remarie with Mary Heaviside. It will have three children of its first marriage and two of the second.

He is professor of Astronomie and Physique at the university of London of 1827 with 1840. He makes a very popular lecture tour to the the United States of 1840 with 1845.

Lardner becomes member of the Royal Society in 1828. He is in particular the author of Treatise one Algebraical Geometry (1823), One the Differential and Integral Calculated (1825) and of the Museum off Science and Art (12 volumes) to which take part of many scientists of his time.

One owes him of many publications into hydrostatic, tire, integral calculus…
