Dion and the Belmonts
Dion and the Belmonts was a group of major song in America of the end of the year 1950 S. the group was born when Dion DiMucci joined Belmonts - Carlo Mastrangelo, Freddie Milano, and Angelo D' Aleo - at the end of 1957.
History
After first individual without success, the group signed with Laurie Records. They bored when " I Wonder Why" made # 22 of the sales in the United States, and the group appeared for the first time on the show televised Dick Clark TV show. They suivèrent the example of this success with " No One Knows" (# 19) and " Gift' T Pity Me" (# 40).This success was worth in Dion and the Belmonts their first major round at the end of 1958, with The Coasters, Buddy Holly and Bobby Darin, which was followed by the round " Winter Dance Party" with Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper.
