Diois
The Diois (in Occitan Diés ) is a natural and historical area department of the Drome. It belongs to the Western préalpes and constitutes the Bassin pouring Drome and of its affluents.
Geographically, Diois recovers the south of the Massif of Vercors and the north of the Massif of Diois in Drome of Provence.
The capital of this area is the sub-prefecture of Die, with the foot of the mountain of Glandasse, which culminates with 2.041 meters. It is also a community of communes which includes/understands 10.000 inhabitants.
Relief

Climate
