Diocese of Yamoussoukro

The Diocese of Yamoussoukro was set up on March 6th, 1992.

Its bishops were successively:

  • Mgr Bernard Agré, from March 6th, 1992 to December 19th, 1994.

  • Mgr Paul-Siméon Ahouanan Djro, O.F.M., from December 6th, 1995 to January 12th, 2006
  • Mgr Joseph Yapo Aké, since July 21st, 2006.
