Dio-and-Valquières

Dio-and-Valquières are a common French, located in the department of the Herault and the area Languedoc-Roussillon. Its inhabitants is called Diociens for Dio and Valquierois for those inhabitants with Valquières.

Geography

The commune of Dio-and-Valquières is located in the back country héraultais, near to Bédarieux and Lodève. Located between the communes of The-Turn-on-Orb, Lunas, Lavalette, Brenas and Carlencas, it presents varied landscapes comprising of the red ground small valleys (the Ruffes ), of the chestnut groves, a wild plate (Pioch)

It counts four brooks: Vernoubrel, Garel, Nombringuières and Brayou. Located in basic zone mountain, it is particularly exposed with the wind of north and to the sailor.
