Dino Battaglia
Dino Battaglia (1925 - 1983) is an Italian author of cartoon.
Friend of Hugo Pratt, it never yields with the requirements of the old world of the cartoon: impassioned literature, he prefers to adapt works that he likes rather than to launch series, and to try to create a new language drawn rather than of reprndre the yokes of the kind. In France, only three of its albums are published before its death, but it however obtains a certain success of regard (price of the foreign draftsman to the Festival of Angouleme 1975).
