Dimitrovgrad (Russia)
Dimitrovgrad (Russian: Димитровград ) is a town of Russia of Europe of 128.000 inhabitants located in the Oblast d' Oulianovsk. It is located at the end is lake of reserve of Kouibychev, with the outlet of the river Tchéremchan. The closest agglomerations are Oulianovsk (80 km in the east) and Samara (120 km in the south). It is a city dedicated to the nuclear research and it lodges a fast reactor (BOR-60). It was successively named Tchouvachi Mélékès, Rousski Mélékes then renamed in 1972 Dimitrovgrad of the name Georgi Mikhailov Dimitrov Communist leader of the Bulgaria.
