Dimitrios Gounaris
Dimitrios Gounaris (in Greek: Δημήτριος Γούναρης ) (1866 - 1922) was the Prime Minister for the Greece of the March 10th to the August 23rd 1915 and of the April 8th 1921 with the May 16th 1922.
It was the political adversary of right-hand side of its contemporary Eleftherios Venizelos. Gounaris was condemned for treason and was carried out the November 15th 1922, with 4 other members of the government and a general, because of the events leading to the “catastrophe of minor Asia” in the Greco-Turkish war, culminating with the destruction of Smyrna.
