Dimitri from Paris

Dimitri from Paris (born Dimitri Yerasimos in October 1963 with Istanbul) is French musician of House and a radio presenter.

Radiophonic career

He begins his career in 1986 on the radio operator FM Frenchwoman Skyrock, by mixing Funk with Electronic music. He is one of the first to introduce the house in France. Its mix are made with few means but it shows its talent by samplant artists like Etienne Daho, Julien Clerc, Goûts of luxury. It is also interested in groups like Sugarhill Gang, Chic, Grandmaster Flash.

In 1987, it goes to NRJ, where it makes a weekly emission of House, NRJ Club, until in 1995.

Career discographic

The general public, recognizes it with its album Sacrebleu left in July 1996 under the label Yellow productions. 90% of the sales of this album are carried out with the the United States, the the United Kingdom and the Japan. It leaves in 1999 has Night At the Playboy Mansion with the agreement of the founder of the magazine Playboy, Hugh Hefner. This album is a kind of synthesis of the music of the years 1970 - 1980 (drunk, Hip hop and Disco).

In 2000 leaves Disco Forefever , followed After the Playboy Mansion in 2002, which are two albums disco music-house. Cruising attitude only leaves in 2003 to the Japan. It is used as credits with the cartoon Moon Phase . Triple CD of mix left under the name In the house under the British label Defected.

In addition, it often mixes in the evenings House of large the Discothèque S of the world.

The February 17th 2005 it was decorated with the chivalric insignias in the Order of Arts and the Letters by the Minister for the Culture and Transport Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres
