Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoché
Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoché (Tibetan: དིལ་མགོ་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་; Wylie: dil mgo mkhyen brtse), (1910 - September 28th 1991) was born in the area from the Kham (Eastern Tibet). He was a Master of Buddhism Vajrayana, a well-read man, a poet, a teacher, and the chief of the school Nyingma of the Bouddhisme Tibetan between 1987 and 1991.
Biography
He was named Tashi Peldjor by Mipham Rinpoché and will be recognized like the incarnation of 1st Khyentsé, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo (1820 - 1892).His/her father, Minister for the king of Dergé, wished that it takes his succession, but the child was attracted more by spirituality. His/her father finally accepted to send it to 11 years with the monastery of Shéchèn where he became disciple of Shéchèn Gyaltsap. He accepted the lesson of Khenpo Shenga of the Monastère of Dzogchen. From 15 to 28 years, it remained in retirement in the caves of Denkhok, then became one of the disciples of Jamyang Khyentsé Tchokyi Lodro, another incarnation of Khyentsé Wangpo.
In 1959, during the Chinese invasion of the Tibet, Khyentsé Rinpoché, his wife Khandro Lhamo and their 2 young girls had to leave their native soil and were exiled with the Bhutan. At the request of the royal family of the Bhutan, Khyentsé Rinpoché settled there as professor in a school close to the capital Thimphou.
Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoché was a very large schoolmaster Nyingmapa, and one of the Masters of the 14th Dalaï Lama. After the death of Dudjom Rinpoché, Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoché became the spiritual leader of the Nyingmapa S.
Large practitioner and Tertön, Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoché was also a great writer. He visited Asia, the United States, Europe of which France (the Dordogne). Matthieu Ricard was a disciple of Khyentsé Rinpoché since the beginning of the Eighties and accompanied it at the time of its first return to the Tibet. It transmitted innumerable lesson to its very many disciples. Its writings and its Terma S were gathered in 25 volumes.
The 14th Dalaï Lama declared: “Khyentsé Rinpoché was a model for all the heirs to the Buddhist doctrines, and one would make a serious error while being satisfied to admire his knowledge, his wisdom and his extraordinary achievement without trying to follow his example and to acquire qualities similar to his. The lesson of the Buddha can bring enormously to all the beings, not only with those which entirely devote their life to it, but also with those which carry out a family life. We all, we must make our to better put them in practice and follow the traces of the large Masters. ”
Reincarnation of Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoché
Khyentsé Yangsi Rinpoché was recognized by Trulshik Rinpoché, the disciple most accomplished of Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoché, like the reincarnation of Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoché. Khyentsé Yangsi Rinpoché was born the June 30th 1993 with the Nepal. The 14th Dalaï Lama confirmed that it was indeed the reincarnation of Dilgo Khyentsé Rinpoché.
Khyentsé Yangsi Rinpoché currently resides at the Bhutan, where he learns the reading, the writing, the meditation and English. It goes to the Nepal at the time of the new year Tibetan (Losar), in particular with the monastery of Shéchèn.
Rabjam Rinpoché and Trulshik Rinpoché gives him the lesson and the initations held by its predecessor.
