Dil Chahta Hai (in Hindi दिलचाहताहै) is a Indian film carried out by Farhan Akhtar in 2001.

Synopsis

Dil Chahta Hai tells the history of three young men, Akash (Aamir Khan), Sameer (Saif Ali Khan) and Sid (Akshaye Khanna), of their friendship and their love affairs. Akash is a womanizer, it does not believe in the love. Sameer is sentimental, it falls in love with all the girls whom it meets and hopes to marry with the girl who will be in love with him. Sid, a painter, is ripest and most sensitive of the three. He is also the confidant of both others. They will meet three young women who will change their life: Shalini (Preity Zinta), Pooja (Sonali Kulkarni) and Tared Jaiswal (Dimple Kapadia).

Although filmed in an almost Hollywood way, this film is completely Bollywoodien by the treated topics.
