Digitalique

The digitalic , is a therapeutic class of Médicament used in Cardiologie. The digitalique one is a related Substance with the Digitaline, resulting from the Digitale (plant).

Action

Example of positive action inotrope of digitalic for the Cardiac failure:

Increase in the muscular Contraction, by intracellular increase in Calcium. The mechanism of action is the following: Blocking of Na+, K+ - ATPase or of the pump with Na+ by the digitaliques ones.

Here different digitalic: Digitoxine, Digoxine, Ouabain, Deslanoside, etc…

Intoxication

The intoxication by the digitaliques ones can be responsible for disorders:

  • digestive,
  • neurosensory,
  • of the rate/rhythm and cardiac automatism (fibers of Purkinje and conduction),
  • and of the renal deterioration of the functions .

The proportioning of the Digoxinémie (concentration in the serum of digitalic) is a test of assistance to the diagnosis on the intoxication by the digitaliques ones. The test is positive if the digoxinemy is higher than 1,7 ng/ml.
