Digicel Cup 2005

The Digicel Cup 2005 or Digicel Caribbean Cup 2005 is the edition 2005 of the Coupe of Caribbean the of Football.

This biannual competition proceeded with the Barbados and was gained by the Jamaica. In all, 30 countries took part (6 declared fixed price).

1st phase

Group has

Played with Kingston and Montego Bay in Jamaica.

Played with Kingstown with Saint-Vincent, although envisaged initially with the Cayman Islands, but cancelled following a Hurricane.

NB: The Bermuda protested the eligibility of three players of the British Virgin Islands (Montgomery Butler, Avondale Williams, Venton James) which took the nationality of Saint-Vincent-and-the-Grenadian, in particular the case of Avondale Williams what is enough surprising since it had already evolved/moved under the shirt of the British Virgin Islands at the time of edition 2001 of this tournament (marking a goal against the Cayman Islands) and even played (and marked) for the British Virgin Islands against Bermuda at the time of the eliminating heats of the World cup 2002

Played with Basseterre with Saint-Kitts-and-Nevis
