Dieter Baumann , born the February 9th 1965 with Blaubeuren, is a German Athlète , evolving/moving on Demi-fond.

Running from the 1.500 to the 5.000 meters, he is the only nonAfrican athlete to compete with those at the time of the great championships. He uses his finish of mile R to gain two Olympic medals out of 5.000 meters, of which the title at the time of the Olympic Games of 1992 with Barcelona.
