Diego Puerta

Diego Puerta Diánez , born the May 28th 1941 with Seville (Spain), is old a Spanish Matador.

Presentation

Since its alternative until its retirement in 1974, Diego Puerta was maintained in the forefront Escalafón . It was remarkable by its courage: it had been called “Diego Valor” (Diego Courage). But it was remarkable also for its classicism and the grace sévillane of sound toreo.

As of before its retirement, it launched out in the breeding of bulls of combat and continues to manage, as well its ganadería as that of his children.

Career

Beginnings as a public: September 16th 1955 with Aracena (Spain, Province of Huelva), with the side of “Reañito” and “Jarrillo”.
Beginnings in Novillada with Picador S: October 7th 1956 with Madrid (Spain), in the plaza of Vistalegre, at the sides of Antonio Rúa and Antonio Matesanz. Five novillos of the Ganadería of Bernaldo Quirós and one of the ganadería of Santiago Pelayo.
Presentation in Madrid, plaza of Mow Were windy: May 29th 1958, at the sides of Emilio Redondo and “Miguelín”. Novillos of the ganadería of Sánchez Fabrés.
