Diego Portales

Diego Jose Victor Portales Palazuelos (* Santiago, June 15th 1793 - † Quillota, June 6th 1837) is a Chilean politician, trading and minister of state. It is a fundamental figure for the political organization of the country. Engaged character, it is seen per many Chilean like the Organizador República , and by others like a tyrannical dictator.
