Diebling is a common French located in the department of the the Moselle and the basin of life of the Moselle-is.

History
The commune of Diebling frankly owes the origin of its name with a warrior present in this valley between the year 700 and 1000. This warrior would have settled there with his colony.The termination “- ing” will remain during the centuries, while the initial root of the name will know many modifications, passing from “Dubelange” in 1272 in “Duebling” at the end of the 16th century, in “Dieblingen” lasting the German occupation to finish by its current name of Diebling after the release.
Located in the valley of Strichbach, the commune is crossed by the RD 910 (St-Avold - Sarreguemines) and MINOR ROAD 31 C ( Diebling - Forbach). The valley bears the name of the river, the “Strichbach” which crosses the village on 3 km. Diebling is located at 10 km of Sarreguemines and Forbach.
Its round of applause has a surface of 784 ha. The landscape is decorated by a forest of leafy trees and a forest of coniferous tree. Demography evolved/moved of 85 inhabitants in 1567 to 1671 nowadays.
