Die Welt
Die Welt , ( Le Monde ), is, with the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, one of three plus famous daily newspapers German. Its edition of Sunday is named Welt amndt Sonntag . It also has the daily newspaper Berliner Morgenpost.
The newspaper is distributed in more than 130 countries.
Leading line
As opposed to what its name could let believe a French-speaking reader, Die Welt is not the German equivalent of the Monde but rather of the Figaro. Its leading line is preserving. Very thick newspaper, a compact version of 48 pages is also available.Carry standard of the house of press Axel Springer Verlag, Die Welt is founding member of the European Dailies Alliance (EDA), allowing the co-operation of several draftings of several countries of which the Daily Telegraph (the United Kingdom), Le Figaro (France) and ABC (Spain).
History
The newspaper is created with Hamburg in 1946 by the British occupying forces. In 1948, the newspaper created its Sunday edition Welt amndt Sonntag .The newspaper leaves later Hamburg for Berlin.
The May 24th 2004, the newspaper launches the version compacts Welt kompakt .
