Die Toten Hosen
Die Toten Hosen , in French literally “the dead pants” (the German expression “yesterday STI tote Hose” means however: “it does not occur anything here”), is a group of Punk German rock'n'roll made up around the leader Campino. Originating in Düsseldorf, this group is with Die Ärzte, one of the German groups most popular. It forms even part of the low number of German groups having succeeded in exporting itself abroad. After having traversed all almost the South America, they start to be made known in certain countries of Asia. They collaborated with many musicians. The groups approaching musicalement more Toten Hosen are Die Ärzte and Wizo.

- Kuddel (* June 11th 1964 with Münster), pseudonym of Andreas von Holst
- Andi (* July 24th 1960 with Essen), pseudonym of Andreas Meurer
- Trini (Trini Trimpop) (percussions) 1982-1985
- Wölli (Wolfgang Rohde) (percussions) 1986-1999, because of health issues (problems of back), it had to yield its place within the group. He is always regarded as a member of the group and always takes part in the writing of the texts. He has also organized for a few years the festival “Rock'n'roll amndt Turm” where young groups arise.
- Walter (Walter November) (Guitar), 1982, it adhered to the movement Témoins of Jéhovah before leaving it afterwards little time.

History of the group
The group of Düsseldorf has existed for more than twenty years. Into twenty years, their music and their topics changed well. Their first Disque vinyl was primarily composed of songs of variety. Since the end of the Années 1980 their texts gained in contents to start to cover subjects such as the Racisme and the Politique.Their first individual Wir sind bereit (“ We are prêts ”) in 1982, one year appears after their first album Opel-Gang . In 1988 appears the disc vinyl Ein kleines bisschen Horrorschau at the time of the German theatrical adaptation of the Clockwork orange (Anthony Burgess delivers). Toten Hosen took part in the part as observers and musicians.
With songs musicalement simple and committed texts (politically), they allured whole generations with their music. Their greater business success is Zehn kleine Jägermeister which occupied several weeks the first places of Charts German in 1996. They also took again songs of Funny van Dannen.
Truth capacity of the group is in the aspect in their concerts. They played in first part of U2, of the Ramones and the Rolling Stones with Green Day or Therapy?. Only between 1982 and 1997 Toten Hosen gave thousand concerts.
At the time of their concert-birthday of June 28th, 1997 in Rheinstadion of Düsseldorf occurred a tragic accident. In the crowd of sixty thousand fans, a sixteen year old Dutchwoman died. The group then immediately stopped the concert. On a recommendation of the the Red Cross, they reflect quickly fine with the concert to avoid panic. However the following concerts were cancelled. During the eighteen following months, Toten Hosen did not give any concert in Germany and only reappeared in 1998 under the pseudonym the “ Roten Rosen ” (“ The pinks rouges ”) with an album of Christmas carols. They return only in 1999 with the album Unsterblich .
Not very known in France, the group however recorded a individual in the language of Molière and available only on the market French. It is about Tout to save the love , a resumption of their hit Alles aus Liebe . The Chanson was recorded in duet with Marina, Chanteuse of the group Marousse. This title is only appeared in France, it is available on the second disc of the album Reich und Sexy II , like on compilation Stop Chirac! .
The group made the opening in the world concert Live 8 on July 2nd, 2005 with Berlin. The following titles were interpreted by the group in front of two hundred and thousand spectateurs : Wünsch Dir Was , Pushed Again , Steh Auf, Wenn Of Am Boden Bist , Hang One Sloopy . Wünsch Dir Was was also retransmis on line on giant screen with London.
June 7th, 2007, the group also took part in the concert of protest against the G8 (which were held not far with Heiligendam), the P8 Festival of Rostock in company inter alia Bob Geldof, Bono (instigators of the Live 8), Youssou Dour, Die Fantastischen Vier, Michael Mittermeier or Herbert Grönemeyer in front of more than 70.000 people.
