Didouche Mourad
Didouche Mourad is one of the heroes of the Guerre of independence of Algeria.
Didouche Mourad is born the July 13rd 1927 with El Mouradia with Algiers within a modest family come from Kabylie, carries out its primary studies as well as the average cycle at the school of El Mouradia then joined the technical school of the Brook.
Nourishing as of its young age a savage hatred towards the Colonialism which gives birth to in him the desire to avenge its compatriots, it engages, as of 1942, in the rows of the Parti the Algerian people whereas it had not reached the 16 years yet age. Called “If Abdelkader”, it is named responsible for the districts for El Mouradia, El Madania and Birmandreis and creates in 1946, the troop of Scout S “Al amal” as well as sporting team “Al-sarie Al-riadhi” of Algiers.
In 1947, it organizes the municipal elections in its zone. It is among the most eminent members of the special Organization (OS). At the time of discovered its responsibilities within the organization in March 1950, and after the failure of the French administration to capture it, a judgment by contumacy is pronounced against him, condemning it to 10 years of prison. It constituted in 1952, with Ben Boulaïd, a clandestine core in Algiers whose mission was the manufacture of bombs in preparation for the release of the “National Revolution”.

It also takes part in the meeting of the “22” behavior in June 1954, during which the release of the Revolution is decided. From this meeting, the first " emerges; the Council of the Revolution " , composed of 5 members of which Didouche Mourad, which is named responsible for zone II (Wilaya II).
It is one of the most eminent writers of the Déclaration of November 1st, 1954 and succeeds with the assistance of its assistant Zighout Youcef, to provide the foundations of an organization politico-soldier.
The January 18th 1955, whereas it was not yet 28 years old, Didouche Mourad dies in the Bataille of the douar Souadek. He is thus the first chief of zone to fall to the field from honor.
