Didier Peyrat
Didier Peyrat , born in 1955, Magistrate of availability, is a Politician French, member of the Socialist party.
Biography
Didier Peyrat is a Magistrat author of many works on the questions of Justice, Sécurité and “Civilité”. Intervening university, he is recognized media as expert of the points of law and is thus regularly present in the written press, with the radio or on television. Since October 22nd, 2007, it holds a semi-monthly chronicle in the weekly magazine Marianne.
It was particularly made know in 2006 by its intervention in '' Libération '' and its critical standpoint of the attitude and the vocabulary used by the Minister of Interior Department during the riots of November 2005 (of which famous “the kärcher”). Followed from there disciplinary threats of continuations and a national campaign of support in favor of the magistrate. Its hierarchy reproached Didier Peyrat this “criticism” of the ministerial policy. To final the Public prosecutor did not give following its threats.
Magistrate since 1988, it is 52 years today aged. He exerted with the court of Pontoise then to that of Cayenne before being in load of the Aide to the victims then of the Politique of the city to the ministry for justice. At the end of 2001 it returns to Pontoise, city where it has lived for 25 years, like vice prosecutor with TGI.
Man of the left, his works as its many interventions in the media translate however an “original” speech which slices with the “official line” of the thinkers of the French left! Almost 20 years ago, it already tried to carry the problems of safety in the middle of the debate of the left… In its works it in turn analyzed very early the place of the insecurity in the causes of the rise of Front National, challenged the left “to join again with educational voluntarism, the assertion of the values, the defense of civility” or pointed out the need for assuming a debate on the ground of morals.
