Didier Paillard

Didier Paillard , born on December 1st 1954 with Saint-Denis is a Politician French.

Ex-first associated, Didier Paillard is the current mayor of Saint-Denis since the December 11th 2004, following the resignation of Patrick Braouezec which assumed the chairmanship of the Communauté of agglomeration Plaine Commune the January 11th 2005.

Member of the French Communist party, he is also general adviser of the Canton of Saint-Denis-North-Is, re-elected in 2001.

The March 26th 2006, a poll considered to be illegal by the administrative court of Cergy on February 23rd, was organized with Saint-Denis by Didier Paillard and was supported by personalities like François Holland (PS), Marie-George Buffet (PCF), Dominique Voynet (Verts), Olivier Besancenot (LCR), Arlette Laguiller (LO), Danielle Mitterrand (PS) and Mouloud Aounit (MRAP). This scrution related to the question of the possibility of voting with the local elections for the non-European foreigners.
