Didier Decoin

Didier Decoin , born on March 13rd, 1945 with Boulogne-Billancourt is a Scénariste and writer French rewarded for the Prix Goncourt in 1977 for John the Hell .

Biography

Didier Decoin is the son of the scenario writer Henri Decoin. He begins his career as journalist from written press with France Soir , the Figaro and VSD , and of radio on Europe 1. In parallel it launches out in the writing, and will be crowned by the Prix Goncourt in 1977 with John the Hell .

While continuing its trade of writer, he becomes scenario writer with the cinema on television then (adaptations and scripts for television like large the telefilms the Poor wretches , the Count of Assembles-Cristo , Balzac or Napoleon ).

In 1995, he became the Secretary of the Académie Goncourt.
