A dream become reality

The star Didier Bléou was born in the sky from audio-visual of the Ivory Coast when the young man was in class of final. It is then with the college of Boys of Bingerville and it is him which animates the ball of end of the year. It is pointed out by certain Mr. Ouegnin who recommends it to Yves Zogbo Junior (man of media of the Ivory Coast) which is then a star uncontested of the small screen. But Yves does not have a minute to grant to him. Didier does not discourage himself for as much. He is, during several weeks in years 92/93, an assiduous visitor of the seat of the Radio Television Of the Ivory Coast (RTI) located at Cocody (district of the town of Abidjan). So much so that Jeff Aka, chief of plate of Junior, his realizer today, the apostrophe. “Small, you do what? You come here the every day. Goes to school! You will return after your studies and we will be always there. The TV will be always there”, says him familiarly it, with the image of a big brother.

This council, it will take it a little with the mot. Didier Bléou is registered with the Faculty of Law. However in 1995, the university of the Ivory Coast knows some problems. And there, it is made catch up with by its first loves. Didier is registered at the French School of the press attachés. He will follow a training in journalism there. And its first audio-visual experiment will be done with Africa n°1. We are in December 1998. The African radio has just opened its antenna abidjanaise and it recruits it. But the “African” adventure will be of very short duration. It is completed in 1999. Afterwards, “I trimé during one year”, tells it. The chance finishes nevertheless by him smiling. Paul Dokui, sub-manager of the programs to the national radio noticed it and appreciates his work. Against the opinion of much, he entrusts to him, on June 7th 2000, “Hello the day”, morning. The test will be convincing since it continues to present this emission.

The friend of the televiewers and the listeners

One year later, the chance will be still with go. One proposes to him to animate “Plume”, a variety programme on TV2, the national public second channel. To this emission, it will give a seal, fruit of its imposing presence, its charm and a suspicion of lightness, which will make of it a real success in terms of TV rating. And which especially will make it impossible to circumvent in the media landscape of the Ivory Coast. The organizer remembers: “I was quietly at home, one Tuesday afternoon, when I received a telephone call of Keita Aboubakar Sidiki, the realizer of the emission”. He asks him to come to animate, with the raised foot, the program. He agrees to take up the challenge.

Then, Soom Saint-Felix, the usual organizer of “Plume” returns and the life continues as so nothing was until September 2001 when the presentation of the program will be definitively entrusted to him. At the beginning of 2004, it must however bid its farewell with “Plume”, the emission which to some extent revealed it with the Men from the Ivory Coast. Georges Aboké, then managing director of the RTI, but especially the father of “Tempo”, proposes to him to animate this program of variety, emission headlight of the first chain of the television of the Ivory Coast, which is diffused every fifteen days midday Saturday. And if Didier releases himself less, there remains always also good presenter. The man always reviews honor not to disappoint his public. “There is not greater happiness than when the public recognizes your work”, dixit Sieur Bléou. It is even an honor for that which wants “to only be the friend of those which look at it”. And it évertue the every day to gain the confidence of the listeners and the televiewers.

“People are malicious”

However, success at a price. “ people are malicious ”, notes Didier Bléou revolted. They tell anything on you with an aim of breaking you, of dirtying you, of destroying you… instead of you to make constructive remarks. I am somebody of very reserved. Actually, I find myself really only on one plate”. One believes it on word. With the antenna, its natural imposing presence and its charm make of him a audio-visual treat. And the Of the Ivory Coast ones are not wearied to enjoy it. He is the darling of these ladies but not only. He knew to be made like of the public of the Ivory Coast. A proximity which partly explains its love for the radio. “With it, one with the chance to be able to address itself to somebody who is at the fine bottom of the countryside and who does not have access to electricity. You become inevitably a friend. I owe all with the radio! It is there that I made my beginnings. ” And the radio operator returns to him well, television also besides.

This is why, apart from being recognized beyond the borders of its country, it wishes only one thing: to have financial means and techniques which allow them, with his/her colleagues and him, of always better doing. Although its country passes through an unprecedented crisis, “it is damage, says it, I think that it is their belly which them (politicians, note) interests”, it remains trustful. Its faith in the future, it draws it from its faith as a God and the affection of his/her child and as of his. Even if its family with him is not yet completely established, since Mr. Bléou is still unmarried. But out of the cocoon of those which always liked it, the man preserves. He is thus very secret - its glasses are then extremely useful for him - a character trait which excuses a little its coquettery. He does not want to acknowledge his age. Sensitive, it is another adjective which qualifies the organizer well. Unfortunately, Didier Bléou chose to make career in a pitiless universe and where, fortunately, the wounds which are inflicted to him are bearable thanks to the public. Because it is liked. Its first prize ultimately, it is to have conquered to us. And that which also animates “Jackpot”, one of the emissions of the national Lottery of Ivory Coast, knows what it turns over from there!
