Dicoumarol

It is a powerful Anticoagulant of the family of made up phenolic heterosides (Coumarine)
It is used as rat poison, drug for infarction It originates in: the fermentation of the Melilot, graminaceous, ombellifères, aspérule odorous.
The series of the anticoagulants was inaugurated by the Héparine (F.C. Mac Lean, 1917) and by the dicoumarol (K. Link, 1941). The first Antihistaminique S were discovered about 1940.
