The Diclofénac is a derivative arylacetic, product which enters the class of AINS (Anti inflammatory not stéroïdien) and which is widely diffused in the world Pharmacopée under various names.

Indications
Anti-inflammatory drugs, antirhumatismaux not stéroïdiens (code ATC: M01AB05). The diclofénac is an anti-inflammatory drug not stéroïdien derived from the Phenylacetic acid of the group of the acids arylcarboxylic. It has the following properties:- antalgic activity,
- activity Antipyrétique,
- anti-inflammatory drug activity,
- plate inhibition of short duration of the functions S.
Against Indications
- Beyond 5 months of pregnancy completed
- Previous of allergy or Asthma started by the catch of diclofénac or substances of close activity, such as other AINS, aspirine.
- Over-sensitiveness with the one of the excipients.
- Ulcer gastroduodénal in evolution.
- severe hépatocellulaire Insufficiency.
- severe Impaired renal function.
- not controlled severe Cardiac failure.
- Child of less than 16 kg, because of the unsuited proportioning of this drug.
- Previous recent of Rectite S or rectorragies (counter-indication related to the route of administration): suppositories with 25 Mg and 100 Mg.
- Turbid of the Hémostase or anticoagulant treatment in progress; counter-indication related to the intramuscular way (injectable solution with 75 mg/3 ml).
Metabolism
The diclofénac is metabolized quickly and practically completely, primarily on the level of the Foie. The excretion is at the same time urinary and fecal. The plasmatic half-life of elimination of the unchanged diclofénac is around 1 to 2 a.m. The total plasmatic clearance is approximately 263 ml/minute.
