Diary 21

In 1992, at the time of the top of the Earth of Rio, 173 countries adopt the program Action 21 (or Agenda 21 for the French-speaking countries). It is a declaration which fixes an action plan for the 21e century in fields very diversified in order to direct itself towards a Sustainable development of planet. Thus, Action 21 enumerates some 2500 recommendations concerning the problems related to the Santé, with the Logement, the Air pollution, management of the seas, the forests and the mountains, with the Désertification, management of the water resources and the cleansing, with the management of the Agriculture, the Gestion of waste.
Aujourd'hui, the program Action 21 remains the reference for the implementation of sustainable development to the level of the territories.
Within the framework of chapter 28 of this Diary 21, the territorial collectivities are invited, while being pressed on the local partners who are the companies, the inhabitants and associations, to set up a Diary 21 at their scale, called Agenda 21 room.
