Dhagpo Kagyu Ling

Center Bouddhiste Tibetan of the line Kagyupa based in the Dordogne (France) with Saint-Leon-on-Vézère.

Since its whole beginnings in 1976, the principal seat of the line Karma Kagyu in Europe developed according to the precise instructions left by XVIe Gyalwa Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje.

Requiring of Guendune Rinpoché to invest itself with this task and indicating Jigmé Rinpoché like its representative for Europe, Gyalwa Karmapa spoke about the need for gathering a library, a university, a monastic hermitage and a center of retirement so that an authentic transmission and a long-term safeguarding of the Dharma can be achieved.
