Dexys Midnight Runners
Dexys Midnight Runners is a group pop British, with influences Soul via the drunk Northern, which existed of 1978 with 1986.
Their name is usually written without Apostrophe: Dexys instead of Dexy' S , which would be the correct Orthographe.
The group was founded with Birmingham. They knew a One-hit wonder with Like One Eileen , extracted the album Too-Rye-Ay published in 1982. The song was named better individual of the year to the Brit Awards in 1983.
In 1985, a few months before the separation of the group, the clavierist Mickey Billingham left the group to form General Public.
Dexys Midnight Runners was reformed in 2003 and set out again in round. It recorded two new songs for a compilation of their music ( Greatest Hits ). It envisaged a return in the shape of a new album which is not for the not concretized moment.
